Max Payne 1 is one of the first games I remember playing and thinking it was pretty obvious. It gets harder the less you die, and easier if you die a lot.

Well in Max Payne 3, I was playing at hard and 1 time I noticed, there was this part where I ended up out of bullets basically, (fucking checkpoint system) so I died...a lot and the game gave me some ammo.
Luckyly that's the only time I had it happen.
