SMT: Devil Survivor
Finally getting into SMT outside of Persona. If anyone has any advice on what games to get, tell me. Was thinking of getting Devil Survior 2 or Strange Journey next

Gameplay is basically Ragnarok Online with a constant 3-man party.

Healers are as OP as they have always been.
Enemy balancing is much more legit than RO.
Item balancing is much more legit than RO.
There's actually story... maybe a little too much, but it's a huge change from RO's "do whatever the fuck you want"
Sidequests are mostly tedious "go here and come back"
Forced touchscreen interface, doesn't use the famed 2.5d "grid".

Game is a 5/10, double the score if you're nostalgic for RO or hyped for ToS.

Both of those are good games to get on the ds.
If you have a ps2 I suggest you get Digital Devil Saga 1/2, since they're nocturne lite. You get the press turn system, but you permanently keep your skills, as well as permanent party members.

Nocturne/Lucifer's Call is pretty good, but not the 2nd coming of Christ some anons make it out to be.
Digital Devil Saga is also pretty fun.

Motion controls are great. I played the trilogy on the Wii, and it pretty easy to get into.
