Does anyone else suffer some insane lag between firing and shots connecting? Yesterday it got so bad that it was like 2 seconds before a shot would register, making shotguns and anything but an automatic weapon useless.
The game is pretty clunky in some respects.
Enemies are samey and say the same voice lines over and over again.
AI is kind of dull. There aren't really any variants between 'rush you with melee weapon guy' and 'gun guy'.
You spend too much time reloading because the enemies are pretty tanky.
MMO-esque feeling isn't there at all.
That being said...
Gunplay is really fun. It controls well and that's all that matters.
Cover system is streamlined and pretty neat-o. You can just hold space to go to wherever you're looking and your guy will go there, going over any obstacles in the process.
Fun with friends, but what isn't?
The graphics are nice and there are a lot of neat technology things. Different screens will break in different ways. Snow gathers on your goon if it's snowing and melts when you go inside. Things like tubes on the ground can be interacted with. The lighting is cool.
