Whenever people endorse blacklist they feel the need to qualify it so they don't get called names for enjoying contemporary Ubi, or going against the "all new games in old franchises must be shit" meme, but honestly, blacklist was full on great.

It allowed for some of the most solid stealth gameplay I've played in fucking ages, and looked damn good doing it. The thing I personally think it was missing was the kind of tongue in cheek charm the older SC's had. Blacklist was a bit self serious for my taste. I got what they were trying to do, and it worked as the whole spy thriller thing, but I still felt like it lost something by ditching the humour. Those unexpected guard interrogation lines were what pushed chaos theory from a great game to a game that I loved.

The submarine mission was the best. The start of it where you need to sneak through the tall grass was amazing .
