The only ones I watch are hat films and sips. I don't watch those for the games, I watch them for the comedy provided by the people playing. They're more like podcasts to me, really.
I imagine streams can also be good for seeing extended gameplay of a game you're not sure about buying.

I like watching Let's Plays while playing video games.
Looking for a Let's Play is a different story. I have never uttered the phrase "what a dumb boring asshole" more times than I have searching Youtube.

Some twitch channels have practically no viewers no matter how long they play video games. With twitch you have to do more than that to keep an audience.

I can't help myself but look for let's plays cuz I like seeing people react to a game I like for the first time, but 9/10 times it's usually overshadowed either by how much of a tryhard fucktard "youtuber" they're trying to be, especially when it's obvious they're faking their reaction, or just generally being a dumbass or unfunny asshole. Just play the fucking game and give your genuine thoughts, but don't be an impatient, judgemental prick.

The only thing I can recommend in good conscious is SuperBestFriend, his LPs of Illbleed and Deadly Premonition are in their own league. He shows you everything.
Forewarning, he doesn't do stuff blind but as for the two LPs I mentioned the editing is absolutely great.
Wish I could recommend more but that's up to personal preference. I could throw you two other names to check out; SuperPaulGames and Left4Donut. It's up to you now.

I know about Zaibatsu. Their melt into despair and torture the further they go into the Naruto game is delicious. Resi 4 and Revengeance was also fun to watch. I'd recommend A Bunch of Jerks. They're just starting, but they have decent humor and are smart enough to have one guy blind and one veteran in order to not make the videos a slog.

I dropped those guys ages ago, I thought they were great but they just went downhill really fast all of a sudden. I'll keep in mind a Bunch of Jerks, in turn I suggest TheRefugees, they gotta a similar thing going on for Dark Souls 2 at the moment.
Oh and one more thing; skip out on Left4Donut's Dying Light. I suggested the game to him and while it was fun to watch it got to a point where he couldn't deal with human and zombies enemies, so I suggested he can it. Shame too, he was at the part of the story where you go to the new area.
