I'm just so tired of these survival games. I played like 200 hours of rust and I just can't stand hitting trees to collect wood and craft shit anymore. I seriously hope this trend ends soon.

Its pretty damn enjoyable man.
I just played a team match, my teammate died early on. I booked it to where he died with nothing but a knfie and an impact grenade and stalked the two fuckos that killed him until they got real close to each other. I hit them with the grenade and dashed in to finish them off with a bit of stabbing. Two other teams ran over to investigate, one of which had a rifle. they fought each other, I managed to sneak in and kill the rifle guy, steal his gun and mop up the leftovers, all while the gas was pushing us further into the map.
About five minutes and 3 more kills later I was the last man standing in the center. Shit was hype.

All that said, it desperately needs more maps. It has a pretty decent amount of content everywhere else and a good amount of polish for being early access but you can only play on the same map for so long. I'd say its definitely worth the 15 spondullis though.

i started this game by thinking it's mainly about melee fighting, i hate the fact that 60% of the time at the end i face a guy who has a revoler/smg/rifle while i have a bow+2 melee weapons on top of my boosters

Punji traps are ridiculous if you use them well. The snares are great if you put them inside a building and wait for someone to get caught in it and then backstab them. Caltrops dont seem that great.

3 minutes is a huge exaggeration. If you want to get a gun as soon as possible, you'll either have to do well enough to kill multiple people while using probably shitty gear and then you'll have to actually wait for the airdrop to come to you and defend it successfully. Then you'll have an inaccurate gun that takes 7 shots to kill with only 20 rounds, not to mention that it's hella easy to charge someone that has a gun and knock it out of their hands if you're fast enough.
Plus anyone that actually perks themselves to get a gun as soon as possible is a gigantic faggot and tend to get fucked anyway. Thankfully hardly anyone actually does that.

they're not that bad, perks give you the opportunity to specialize in something but given you can never know what you scavenge it's a risk not just taking some general defence perks
The game is pretty good but the combat feels pretty shit, like a bad version of Chivalry. I'm sure it will improve but every fight feels like a dice throw between two people running around in circles holding block.
I think it could dethrone H1Z1 BR but they need to work on the melee combat, and maybe add a mode with no perks.
