Thinking about getting a ps vita...Is it worth it? I can play a fuckton of Final Fantasies on a handheld and the graphics for other games seem amazing.
The Vita doesn't have any Final Fantasy that the PSP doesn't. Or even your phone, just emulate that shit.

Is there at least 5 games exclusive to it and/or you want portable on it? Do you not have a PSP for PSP/PS1 games? If yes to both of these, it's more than worth it. If you only want the latter or don't care about its exclusives, you're probably better off with a PSP.
I really like mine, but I knew there was games on it I wanted that I couldn't get on other platforms at the time. It's a pretty nifty little device.

I used mine for Gravity Rush, Shinobido 2 and a metric fuckton of Spelunky but it's been gathering dust for 18 months now.
The N3DS with CFW is real nice right now. Currently playing a lot of GBA games. Pokemon FireRed, Final Fantasy IV, Castlevania: CotM, Metroid: Zero Mission etc etc. Everything on tap, wirelessly transferring games over. It's awesome.

If you get a Vita, maybe look into getting trigger grips, depending on your hand size. Made holding it a lot better, especially for games like Binding of Isaac.
Honestly the Vita is one of the greatest pieces of gaming hardware Ive ever owned. If you play jap imports at all, it is totally worth it. the localized library is pretty sparse compaered to japan, though.

As cool as it is pplaying psx classics on such a perfect piece of hardware, there is not a single VITA exclusive worth buying the system other than Persona 4 Golden, which is honestly one of the greatest games I've ever played, but still it is only one game. I'm not disappointed with my purchase per se, because what I have gotten out of it has been great. That said, now it collects dust, and if something were to happen to it I wouldn't replace it.
