At first I thought it was a bug, but apparently it's not. Holy fuck, that was so not worth it. Took me a while to chew through all that HP, and it dropped nothing, didn't have anything to steal either, just some gold and exp.

Well, it wasn't really difficult outside of the optional boss challenges in the later chapters.
I haven't really progressed all that far in the sequel yet. It hasn't been painfully hard so far, if that's what you want.

You can, but it's not as satisfying as stillness, super jump and shit.
Snow man is kind of a bitch since he can freeze also. I don't think there is anything that can make you immune against it.

They changed the writing staff for Bravely Second. You can see this in how the BD team said the Ba'als would be the focus on BS' plot when in the final game you can go hours without one even being mentioned, and the Ba'al that appears in the BS preview is never acknowledged or spoken of again.
