For Tekken it depends on the player knowing how to move. You can be slow or fast depending on how much you practice the movement. And actual matches are fast since most people cant KBD from eachother.

I bet none of you have even played it. I'm not calling it a masterpiece, but the gameplay is solid, and the multiplayer is fun. All of the hate is primarily due to the lack of aesthetic polish, much like God Hand when it was released

You can argue Virtua Fighter and DOA have faster movement. But it depends on what you're talking about.
Back in the day when Tekken vs DOA was a thing, I preferred DOA because it didn't allow endless juggle combos. While at the same time, combos felt more satisfying to pull off. But after DOA Dimensions introduced fucking hadookens and broken juggling, DOA basically turned into Tekken. And now DOA 5 is trying to be all realistic and it just turns me off. And with Soul Calibur being shit since SCII and Virtua Fighter taking a NASA manual to learn combos, I really have no interest in 3D fighters anymore.

DOA Dimensions on the 3DS. Which was basically a combination of DOA 1-4, but with 'new' skills. The Ninjas have broken projectile attacks. As they always have broken techniques the other characters don't.
And then you had shit like Tengu playable in multiplayer.
