Is this worth playing? It's really expensive
emulate it dumdum
Yes, just emulate
>>329458126
does yabause have any major problems?
>>329458126
>>329458248
So what's the best Saturn emulator?
>>329458519
SSF has highest compatibility but you're stuck to native resolution
yabause has good compatibility and an opengl renderer for higher resolution
>>329458063
in a better world this would have been remade and there would already be a PDS 2, 3, 4 and 5 at least
and all them would also be on pc
>>329458667
SSF it is, then. Thanks man.
>>329458063
the only flaws this game has are all related to it being on the saturn
>>329458913
can the rather low difficulty and short length be attributed to that?
shitty graphics even in its time is the console's fault
>dat story, soundtrack, references to previous dragoon games atmosphere and designs though

you can buy or build a CD mod board for a real saturn and play from cdr. if you buy premade you will need to solder 1 wire, piece of cake
>>329459668
the whole soundtrack is fucking magical
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qia3_eyLNpk
>>329459668
Short length, yes
>>329459668
idk about the difficulty but they made it in 2 years which is pretty insane when you think about it, graphically it was the most they could do with the saturn and its goofy architecture, and the ENTIRE game is voice acted which was really unheard of back then. and it's still a good 20 hours long on a first playthrough but you can knock that down a lot if you know what to do but that's the case with any game really
>>329458667
most saturn games look like ass above native res anyway.
Only bad thing with SSF is that you have to mount the ISOS in a virtual drive instead of just loading them from the emulator.
>ywn play PDS for the first time again

Instead in this world Team Andromeda (PD team) would always have uphill battles ranging from suicides, to running a game at the end of a sega systems lifespan and the office at one point burning down and them losing a majority of their game data. Now they make Mario v Sonic at the olympics games. To this day I feel a bitter sadness because the likelihood of getting another Panzer Dragoon game is pretty much nil. Hell you could kind of tell That Orta was their swan-song with how much content they packed into it.
it's very good
>>329458063
Someday I'll be able to afford it. It's my lifelong vidya dream since I was 10. I can't just emulate it.
OK, after finished the first stage of this game, it took me back to the Sega Saturn menu and the disc looks clean enough. Is it the game or the console?
>>329459668
>>329459847
got a link to the soundtrack? this sounds good as fuck.
>>329464381
just search for panzer dragoon saga album flac and you can find a legit working torrent, don't mind that it's .ru, it still works
>>329464381
it's on baka of all places
>>329458063
Yeah it's well worth playing.
I'd give anything for a HD remaster.
>>329461004
There was that game on the Bone but apparently it sucked.
>>329458063
Absolutely. There isn't any game out there like it.
https://youtu.be/RAjNhc0Hvig
>>329468175
Crimson Dragon? It was very mediocre. Not bad but just mediocre.
>>329458063
they made a remake for ps2. or is there more then one panzer dragoon game?
>>329458063
Fuck no and anyone telling you otherwise is just some guy on ebay trying to gain back the $500 he blew on it.
>>329468831
>this post
I paid £35 for PZS on ebay and they sent my Zwei
by the time it arrived they'd closed their account and I couldn't get my money back
>>329469554
fuck ebay. at least zwei is a great game anon
>>329469629
You know what I've been really noticing a lot lately when looking for games on eBay is?
The fact that only North American, Mexican, and Canadian sellers list disc or case or manual only auctions and list disc only for the same price as other copies that are complete or game with case. I have yet to see any from Asia or Europe or even Australia.
>>329469554
Damn, that sucks.
I got lucky and found it at CEX for about £35 shortly before it became scarce (way back in the day).
