What game did you get? Where are you at? What's your team?
I got red, emulated it since my 3ds isn't working, I haven't used it in forever.
Fearow and Paras so far, caught everything else I've ran into, sitting at I think 20 on the pokedex, both level 24, just reach Vermillion.

Realized I didn't like Yellow version as much as I wanted to. Dropped it and picked up a hacked Omega Ruby with a difficulty mod.
My team and I haven't even beaten the 2nd gym leader yet.

I got Blue since I played Red and Yellow 20whatever years ago, even though I guess the game really isn't any different.
I just got Surf and Strength and have been hitting up the Safari Zone a bit. I've also been trying to catch all the Glitchmons I can, generally anything I can't catch in game, like Red exclusives, or Mons that need to be trade evolved.
Right now I'm rolling with Wartortle, Mew, Snorlax, Gengar, Scyther (I need to replace him, I don't remember him being this shit) and Fearow (and I don't remember him being this badass.)
I'm actually enjoying the game more than I thought. Maybe it's that partial nostalgia, but I was afraid the game hadn't aged well. It certainly has it's issues, but it's pretty fucking solid. More than anything though I got the game so I could try and complete the Pokedex and transfer all this shit to Sun/Moon.

First game I played was red, I had a shiny goldeen which was my first natural shiny
I used Pokemon like charizard, dragonite, goldeen, pigeot, and vaporeon
I later fell in love with my favorite Pokemon after getting my second natural shiny, a shiny growlithe
