Probably never. I think they intend to move onto X because the ending of Red wrapped things up nicely. Mega's moral dilemma was resolved, Protoman found the will to live, Light is being given another chance, and Wily is implied to have died when Gamma was destroyed. I have heard things about them doing MM9 but I'd rather see MMX.

It's funny, they're both darker and more serious takes on the Mega Man mythos, but the story the Megas tell is ultimately optimistic, and the story the Protomen tell is ultimately pessimistic.
