It's all fun and games until multiple ones aggro and there's a skeleton rape gang coming at you.
The moment that made me feel actually semi-accomplished in DaS wasn't any boss or PvP, it was when I took on that whole room of wheel skellies in the catacombs (right before Pinwheel, by the blacksmith) on at once, plus the ax-wielding black knight who dropped down from somewhere. No sheld+Claymore two handed and a little Pyromancy won that battle. I've never felt more like a badass in any similar game.
