Still in chapter 19 doing the great challenges. I'm still in the second one against Leopardmon.
It was good until I de-digivolved everything and didn't realize it was right before a boss. Now I'm stuck and I never want to play again.

I digivolved 2 of mine into fuckers i did not want. I'm guessing de-digivolving brings them to lvl 1 again? If it means leveling them up again then i'll just roll with what i got
Decent.
Honestly my first Digimon game since Digimon World 2, not really sure why I picked this one up on release day, I guess to help out trying to get other stuff localized.
Digivolving and breeding was pretty fun, but the bulk of the gameplay and story was kind of boring.

That's why I saved everytime I digivolved to something I wasn't familiar with.
But yes, de-digivolving reverts them back to Lv. 1, but at the same point it increases your ABI when you do.

Weirdest evolution mechanic because they will artificially block you at points

I did the same shit, but you can just grind on random encounters pretty damn fast and get to speed.
Just use the "Force Encounters" hacking skill, all you need is a Neutral Rookie. I De-evolved my Greymon, Kyuibimon and Togemon and in 20 random battles I got them nearly high enough to go ultimate. As well as get halfway to my Lady Devimon and shit.
But God damn, this game does tend to throw bosses at you out of the blue. Some times one right after the other, which is straight up bullshit.

Oh then forget that idea, at that point you're better off trying to relevel your mons normally than making a platinum sukamon since that takes some effort due to needing a Hagurumon at level 20 (which requires more than 5 ABI, meaning you need to evolve it then devolve it to be able to reach level 20).

I had hagurumon at 20 and evolved it but the evolution is shit. Hope it'll evolve into something better along the line

You can make anything into anything with enough toying of the evolution/devolution functions.
Andromon evolves into Hiandromon, Craniamon (after chapter 19's quest) and tigervespamon (hard to make it into that because it requires a lot of speed)
Machinedramon is also a popular mega for hagurumon but Datamon (another ultimate guardromon can become) has very ill matching stats for the requirements to get machinedramon, so it takes more fiddling with the evolution trees to get to a digimon (gigadramon/megadramon) that meets those requirements easily

You need Tactician USB's. Put 10 Digimon in your farm all with Builder personalities, put as many development know how's in the farm as you can, and have them build something for 1000 yen. Save it at the one minute mark and reset until they give you the USB. They always make 2 at a time

Ps4 version has no loading times and runs at 60 FPS. However, it has some mad jaggies and some stretched out textures.
The vita version runs a little less smoothly, but it doesn't take away from the game and has loading times. Plus the textures aren't stretched out.
It also gets kind of annoying that the Ps4 version doesn't make full use of the controller. Not like that's an issue, really.
