Should I upgrade it? Is it even worth it spending 500$ on a new card?
I've had it since 2012 and am wondering if it is time to upgrade.

I'm still running my GTX 560ti from 2011, playing at 1920x1200, and I have had no problems running ANY game at decent settings and performance so far.

If you can play what you want, don't upgrade at least until Nvidia's new cards come and we see if they're really the jesuscards they're supposed to be.

Not OP but bruh I had a 560 (not even ti) and the only reason I switched cards is because it literally smoked my room out last year. It was still running everything on high at at least 30fps, modern games are a fucking joke.

Depends if you want to play 2016 games at high fidelity.
I'm still using a GTX 670 because I don't play modern games anymore. I'm even going backwards to games released in the 2000's because I find them more fun.

I had a GTX 570, thing was honestly a beast for a long ass time and still played most things on medium-high. Replaced it last year with a 980 ti when I did my new build.

only reason I upgraded was because some game require DX11 now.

I played W3 on a 580. I couldn't go max settings but it was pretty to look at at high settings and I didn't feel as if I'd watch a slideshow.
I thought of upgrading too but decided to first run W3 and I stuck with it, especially since the only other modern game I play is HotS and this one's running flawlessly on max settings.
All my other gaming needs are retro/indie/emu so as long as my pc doesn't short circuit I'm good for another few years.

I am more into shooters, horror and SP RPGs.
MGS5 ran at 60fps all High, same with KF2 when shadiws are at medium and regular SSAO is used.
I only need to tone down a setting or two to keep steady fps.

typed this shit on a laptop from 2007, that cannot even run Minecraft, Toontown, or any ancient game decently. The only thing that kept me from being a borderline depressed work drone were video games, and now that I can't play any, every day of my life just feels boring. I'm not a socially normal person exactly, so when you take the cave out of the mancave, and everything that distracted him from his shitty life, you get a disappointment like me.

i doubt it. But it could probably pull off mid/high with cinematic 24fps only sometimes, in more demanding scenes in cities.
