Honestly I'd start with Freedom Unite assuming you can emulate a PSP game (kek). Its a fantasitc game but most people find it impossible to go back and play the old games after playing 3U or 4U. But once you're done with MHFU just skip straight to 4 Ultimate, 3u is pretty much just worse outside of having Lagiacrus and a couple other aquatic monsters.

I had one and I sold it because I didn't like. Its a fine console if you're into that stuff but I'm not anymore. Luigi's mansion and #D world were great. Smash was disappointing, both Pokemon were cool for a while but immediately underwhelming. I don't like Fire Emblem or waifushit. I don't want another one even with the hacking. No offense intended. I'm actually considering hitting up ebay for another Psp after reading this thread though. I played my 3000 until it died and theres no reason I shouldn't have another as an adult that can actually buy things.
