Great figures if you're a Disney nerd, but the games suck ass. I bought 1.0 and 2.0 and there's no fucking way it will ever get better

I really, really like the toys and have a bunch of them.
The games on the other hand are kind of underwhelming which is a big understatement. They got better over time but considering how bland the first one was that's not exactly saying a lot.
The thing I like most about the updates to the game is the leveling up of characters and unlocking new abilities and shit like a proper action game but what tans my hide about it is that it only works for new characters.
Some of my favorite toys are from 1.0 and they are just as bland and dull as ever.

Pretty much everyone in the community is butt hurt about it and constantly beg for the older characters to get overhauls to match the new features.
The dumb devs keep using some shit excuses like "What do you prefer, new characters or update the old roster? I think the answer is obvious :^ )"

3.0 is better just from Twilight of the Republic alone. If you base the games off of their starter kits alone then 3.0 is the best with 1.0 and then 2.0. Enemies actually are a pain in the ass in 3.0 because they block attacks, they dodge, they chase after you, they fly around, and you have to time your attacks to fight them when it comes to Star Wars. The Jedi Training Room challenges are brutal since you have to do them with a single character without dying on Extreme with health pickups that only respawn every two minutes while 10+ enemies chase after you, throw stuff at you, and shoot at you.
I just wish there were more playsets, the community levels almost always border on unplayable or are just terrible, and even developer picks are almost always awful or broken.

They're suppose to be announcing a new one next month, but I have no hope for it since it's probably going to be based off the new Alice in Wonderland live action film.
You would think with their playset approach, they would be pumping out new ones every so often, but instead they just keep holding out on us until a sequel comes out.

DI is probably the cheapest out of the 4 toylines to get into. The shit is always on sale.
I got the Xbone version for 20 bucks a while back. The full thing. Game, portal, 2 figs, and the Clone Wars playset.

For 12 bucks, that's not so bad, but keep in mind you're going to need to buy a portal and the playsets.
If you already had the base and some figures from a previous version it's an alright deal. Personally though, I think going digital with any of these games is dumb.

Naw, they're not going to sell any versions like that anymore. They sort of did that last year but it confused people.
However, the chances of there being a sale for the base game are pretty high when Zootopia or Battlegrounds comes out. Stores always go big when one of these games have some sort of big release coming out.

The suits are afraid of letting them use any TV properties for Infinity after how badly the Phineas and Ferb figures flopped.
They always love to brag about how Infinity is focused on entertaining a bunch of generations, but their releases and design philosophy is clearly aimed at toddlers. Only once in a blue moon do they give a fuck about older audiences.

Darkwing Duck and Kim Possible are at the top of my "Give me them now" list along with a Star Wars Rebels playset and a Kingdom Hearts one just for the sheer amount of figures you'd be able to use in that one.
Hell, I'm half expecting 4.0 to have a KH Playset after them adding the Keyblade and having a King Mickey costume change disk.
