Oh boy. Get this. They decided to add drops after missions that would be locked behind a paywall. Specifically, "safes" that needed to be unlocked by paying $2.50 for a "drill" (think buying a key to open a TF2 crate). These safes often had weapons and items with better stats than anything else in the game.

Last year they added safe drops, during crimefest, which can only be opened with a drill. The only way to get the drill is to buy it from overkill. You will get a skin for your gun and it added stat bonuses.
The problem is a week before the crimefest, they released a patch nerfing most of the weapons in the game. So you had to get skins to get your guns back to the stats they were, and if you went to a game and you didn't have a skin the host would kick you from the lobbies.

Alright, so if you guys are done shitposting, I'm gonna talk about the DLC for Payday 2.
I didn't buy it, my friend did, so that's already a plus, since it's a ridiculous $7. Anyway, the heist is split into two days. The first day is, honestly, a lot of fun. You're given a car in the beginning which you use to transport the goats to the moving truck for transport. You get scenarios where one dude's piloting the car, ramming the shit out of police, while another dude is riding shotgun, keeping you and the car secure, and two other dudes are out searching for the goats. Payday 2 obviously wasn't designed for cars since it's so damn glitchy (You can get tased out of a car, what the fuck?) but it's pretty neat swerving around an entire city block as you transport the goats. The goats themselves are silly since they're doing things they'd do in goat simulator, so you have to kind of lower your serious guard for a second.
Day 2 sucks, though. It's really difficult and none of it is fun. You have to hold out for a few minutes as gang members attack a barn you're held up in, then onslaughts of police arrive and you're fucking around with getting goats in a cage to be picked up by a helicopter. You get to drive again, but it's a linear path followed by another five minute wait on a broke piece of dick drill, and then the heist is over.
Almost two million xp from the whole thing, which isn't too shabby, but for the love of god, don't buy this. Just play with others who did.

Decided to join some low difficulty pubs. Man the people that play this are just terrible. Constant kicks due to not having certain skins or guns. Keep in mind this is "Dumb baby difficulty".

Should I just uninstall Payday 2? I have autism with keeping all games I own installed, but we're creeping up on 30 GB of memes and DLC I don't own here, and it filled up the drive it was on. I told it to not update until I launch it next time, but I'm thinking I'll be a lot happier with 30 GB of empty hard drive space than having the game installed.
