Honestly, the Vita version is still better. The whole "gravity" gimmick feels more... organic, I guess? Also, the game actually looks better on the Vita, too; ports from portable consoles usually like kinda bad on home consoles (e.g. Final Fantasy Type-0).

GR isn't a big IP in the west. GR:R is getting a PS4 bundle in China. It's more of a JP game anyways. So, even though they said 2016, it won't be 2016 for the west. Niche, weeb shit like GR targets Q1 release dates, like Fire Emblem Fates or GR:R cause there's little competition. GR:R released in Japan in December cause GR is more the JP's taste and December is a good sales window.
So, I expect late 2016 for JP/Asia, early 2017 for the rest of the world.
