It's really rare for me that spilling tea breaks the keyboard, but it did happen once.
I currently have to use sticky keys because my modifier keys don't react to being pressed at the same time as letter keys. Only if I press them separately, do they work right.
To be honest, that has given me a deep appreciation of how comfortable sticky keys are.
