"Kuwagata" is Japanese for stag beetle, which is what Boomer Kuwanger is. In Japan, most Maverick names are basically bastardizations of the animal they're based on. Chill Penguin was Icy Penguino, for instance.

Oh, quit complaining. Mega Man Zero 1 had some of the simplest bosses in the series. Sure you might not beat him the first time, but he literally only has three really simple patterns. And if he's really that much of a problem for you, just grind your Z-Saber until you unlock charge. That'll make short work of him. He only has one lifebar anyway.

Harpuia is probably the easiest boss in Mega Man Zero 1, though. Equip ice chip, use a charge attack, avoid slow-as-shit sonic boom, repeat.

On paper, Harpuia is indeed one of the stronger characters. He's only outmatched by Zero, Omega, Copy-X, Elpizo powered by the Baby Elves/Dark Elf and Weil. He was the only one who was able to harm Omega at the beginning of Z3. Unfortunately, that completely fails to be reflected in the gameplay, since he's consistently the easiest Guardian to beat. Also, despite not being especially notable in terms of lore, Craft is a harder boss than any of the Guardians.
