A man is a genius because you were unobservant as a child?
>>
>>323501337
i just replayed them both. no it's not. but rayman 2 is still amazing. its got too many gimmicky levels and those shitty levels where you need to ride those shells are really fucking annoying and based more on memory than skill

He's probably an American, lad.

Just nod and tell him he's a smart boy.

Vaati was foreshadowed a whole 4 years before his debut in 2001's Four Swords.

Keep in mind, that Four Swords at the time was a side-game, so there is literally no other reason for this to exist but to foreshadow the next major Zelda villain.

>three posters. Threes Four Swords games.

That's Cragma.

yeah

Four Swords was meh. Minish Cap was another version of LttP with different graphics and I have yet to play FSA.

>Nintendo was foreshadowing a boss in a shooting gallery that is killed using a bow and arrow, 11 years after its release.

Deep.

>>323501617
It also seems like more of an oversight than an actual intended effect.
>>
>>323501617
He's a genius because he had the wherewithal to make a 3D overworld platformer in an era where only side-scrolling platformers existed, and set the gold standard in analog control (to this day no game has better control of 3D space) on the first try.

If that isn't the trademark of a genius, nothing qualifies.

>level is spooky when you have to enter a sunken ship.
>level becomes normal and how it is supposed to look when you unsubmerge said ship.

Looks right to me.
>>
>>323504231
That's all well and good, but what does that have to do with the sky changing?
>>
>>323504589
To make a distinction between past and present.
>>
>>323502520
It's far more likely that they just based Vaati on that obscure thing rather than having him planned out beforehand.
>>
>>323501617
Miyamoto is a genius he made 2 of the most influential videogames ever (Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 64) imagine if the same person had made Doom and Street Fighter 2.
And the rest of the games he directed have some of the most critically acclaimed games ever, like Ocarina of Time or Yoshi's Island.
He really had the midas touch more or less from the mid 80s to the late 90s.
