the ONLY good things about the game are the homestead and its missions, the ship, and only IF you liked it before in past games, the modern day desmond missions where he actually does stuff. i liked them cause it felt like all that training and shit from the past 3 games actually mattered. of course, ubishit ruined it by killing him off and then having the next several games go nowhere with this plot.

I have never liked Haytham much, but Rogue added a lot of things that would make Black Flag much better (and I loved Black Flag).
The only reason that Black Flag is better for me is the setting and atmosphere of the game. Being a pirate is awesome, being just a dude with a ship sailing through ice is not so awesome.
Black Flag was a pretty cool pirate game but it didn't feel right as an AssCreed game.
Kenway was just some pirate guy that for all intents and purposes was not an assassin at all, but could fight just like one.
