Bloodborne is not even the best souls game and to be quite honest, the souls series isn't even that good.
Bloodborne is a game with no story and no, fan speculation and made up LORE's are not stories.
The game is extremely linear, the whole game is just a long narrow hallway with some branching paths.
The combat is extremely shallow and there are very little weapon choices.
I have a PS4 and I own Bloodborne, i'm not some biased "PCFAG" you Sonyshills will claim me to be just because you can't take a little bit of criticism in your pathetic life.

I find lots of examples of decisions that have consequences, there are 3 endings for example depending on the choices you make and dozens of side consequences to your decisions. More than I can say for the longhallway games coming out of japan these days people call RPGs

Literally what? By definitive version, do you happen to mean "the latest patch?" I'll admit I didn't play Bloodborne on launch (I hear the loading times were far worse then) but if you're using an unpatched version you really have no fucking excuse to bitch. I played through the whole game last week and never had fps drops - the worst graphical error was some object pop-in.

You have a point. I mainly invade at low levels (me being level 43 to invade level 30s) and I'm pretty OP at this point. In further stages, you encounter much higher levels and killing someone without them spamming the dash button and popping a couple of vials is difficult indeed. This is especially true if you have cooperator(s) spamming R1 on your ass.
To be fair you do have all of the stage's enemies on your side, even if they're dumb as shit.

I played on the non-physical version and probably unpatched. By defenitive version i meant the game of the year edition.
The game never stayed at 30 fps and it felt like a mediocre dark souls, but PC has all the multiplats so it makes sense to defend this game since it's one of the few exclusives.

You don't understand. These things are optional but they are essential for the plot. Upper cathedral ward, hemwick, nightmare frontier, healing church workshop, hypogean gaol, castle cainhurst are all optional but very important to the lore and easily missable and also are the best areas in the game, upper cathedral ward is the climax of the game to me.
Chalice dungeons are different, they are much like pokemon battle frontier except nowhere near as endearing.

There is nothing wrong with most of the game being optional. It's like that so everyone has a different experience with it. If you don't care to explore and miss half the game then too bad for you. If you don't know you missed anything but don't feel like replaying it then too bad for you.
As for chalices: yes their implementation was poor. The "story" chalices are poor. Having to farm the same bosses over and over for the best gems is poor.
But, if you just enjoy playing the game for its gameplay, then FRC root chalices are a worthwhile addition to the game and make it practically infinitely replayable.

Yeah, it sucks. But as the invader, you have the luxury of preparing before the battle. You have access to +10 weapons, lixery to farm for the best bloodgems (assuming you can get through chalice dungeons at your level), and superior runes that may only be accessible later on in the game.
The phantoms have less HP so it makes sense to go after them once they become separated from the host, assuming they themselves aren't ridiculously high leveled twinks summoned using the password system. 1v2 isn't a fair, but then again, neither is invading a host with a twinked out character for the purpose of killing the host.
