Jill and Chris is some sort of weird non explored relatioship that probably won't go anywhere judging by how depressed Chris is in RE6 and not a single mention of Jill is made.

I really can't believe that. The Family asserts that it manipulated events spanning centuries. And mention the founding of Umbrella, as if they had a mole among or near Spencer, Ashford, and Marcus. If this is one and the same with Ada's Organization all allusions and actions of it are discontinuous.
If they really had inside info or in any way could influence Umbrella they'd have known something more than fuckall about Umbrella, like the USS mobilizing and could've gotten an agent to check on Birkin's lab sooner than 14 days after the outbreak.
Also they'd never have been fooled by Wesker. So unless they shared in Wesker's dreams of Eugenics (which they didn't because in this perspective they ordered Ada to withhold the Plagas sample from him): they wouldn't accept him just for bringing combat data they'd already have access to, or at least know it'd be from a failed model. Neverminding the retconning of the IVAN tyrants. In short they wouldn't need anyone to have anyone steal anything if they were their puppetmasters.

Resident Evil 0 = best RE. Right along side REmake. RE4 was a step in the right direction as far as breaking away from the stock cut, but RE5 started the nails in the Coffin. RE6 sealed said coffin.

Well I don't see that as equivalent. I mean with that as the standard any series with a villain is as much of an offender. Don't get me wrong Resident Evil's plot is a total mess, and that they've fallen back on (Wesker's Kid) and (Wesker's Hybrid Gene therapy Augmented DNA adjunct 'cousin') as well as opting out of making the only villain they had left be the villain to have it instead be their evil clone? Yeah it's hackney and it its own special way, I don't want to imply I think it's skillful or good.
But the greatest problem with Wily and Sigma is that they choke out their series as dull and uninteresting characters who just occupy the main villain slot out of rote. While Wesker is always part of an ensemble, and is entertaining in his own right as a megalomania, and for what its worth his chain of doublecrosses DO make sense to place him in the roles the games do.
