It's no worse than the xbox. You used to be able to keep your games on the 360 but the Xbone takes them away now too.

I'm fine with it. I'm currently playing Yakuza 4 now thanks to PS Plus. I can pay 50 a year and complete probably around 20 plus games or I can buy them all individually for more than a hundred bucks.
I don't mind paying the $150 for the past three years if it means i have about 300 games I can choose to play across the ps4, ps3 and vita.
"bu-bu-but you're just renting them!" how much do you think $150 buys you in Steam sales? And how many of those games go unplayed, sitting on someones Steam list? 37% according to Steam.
