This. I mean all we know is she became a pirate and was somehow mentored by the evil badguy of PC before she took over. Hell, we don't even know exactly how she managed to take over or exactly how the pirate master died, and we don't really know the relationship she had with Shantae's mom or how she got into pirating in the first place.
