Nigga. I'mma level with you. It's not great. But if you have a game or two that you want to play (Dead Space 3 for me) then firing it up to play those games then shutting it down immediately after is not a bad thing. The only issue is giving EA money. Get it through a 3rd party site such as the shady BRs from Nuuvem.

It hijacks system utilities to function. Other than that its an alright service. Jade Empire is still free if you don't have it yet.
It's better than steam.
If your steam account fucks up, have fun. All you can do is send in a ticket that will trickle through an automated system for weeks while your library is hostage.
If your origin account fucks up? Get to customer support and get it settled that very day.
Neither system is that good, but steam has some serious problems that people overlook just cus they don't like change.

You don't "give it a try", you only install the EA spyware on your pc if you really want to play an EA game, like battlefield. There are sometimes old games for free they hand out, or selling 90s titles for still way too much if you are into those

To be fair, I'm honestly only interested in the new NFS coming out soon. If they give out free shit periodically then eh, it could be worse I guess.
