What's there to gain out of owning a bird?
You can walk a dog.
You can let your cat out to prowl the streets.
All you do is lock your bird in a cage and sometimes let it out to show friends and family how it can walk around a table and fly onto the curtains. And you just let it live its life like that for years. Bored.

What if you're in a place that's relatively wooded? I've always had my cats be outdoor cats (with a great amount of care so that they don't get sick.) keeping them in doors when the weather is bad, etc. Isn't it a good thing to have the cats kill off weaker/sick animals/pests and keep them away from your house?

With the slowdown that sometimes happens I think the o3ds would straight up crash unfortunately.
Binding of Isaac also crashes on the n3DS but I think that's from Nicalis being fucking terrible at their job.
A game like BoI should NEVER crash on software older than the GameCube/PS2.
