this game worth playing? been tempted, tried it at launch and couldnt get into it compared to KOTOR1 & 2.

Tried it out a month or two ago cause I needed a Star Wars fix and people have said it's not half bad. Actually it was pretty meh, couldn't get into it and now I'm back replaying KOTOR instead.

I wanted to play through the KotOR games first before going into Aunt Bioware's Star Wars Themepark but honestly considering how the games are starting to show their age in arbitrarily deciding when they want to run and when they want to greet me with a black screen I'm growing desperate.

I watched some gameplay videos of Star Wars Galaxies and it seemed pretty cool, the open world was nice and it even had free roam space battles. I then proceeded to watch some footage of KOTOR spess battles and it looked like it was completely on rails, kinda like Virtua Cop or something. Is that how the space battles are like in SWTOR?

There's PvP space battles that are off rails but no one does those anymore.
