This. It's... not what I expected, honestly. I've spent like 99% of my time trying to find my way through labyrinthine maps and only 1% doing actual sneaking.

And I just got past the third mission. You know how much sneaking I did? Zero, zilch, nada. It was just roaming around dark ass caves and walking past zombies and whatever the fuck those things that spit shit were.

ITS DAMN COOL TO PLAY AS THE LEADER OF A MERCENARY COMPANY THAT HAS FOUGHT IN CAMPAIGNS ALL OVER EUROPE, FROM THE IBERIAN PENINSULA TO THE BALKANS.
HIS ARMOR AND WEAPONS ARE A MISMATCHED SET OF REGIONAL DESIGNS LOOTED FROM THE CORPSES OF HIS ENEMIES.
HIS SOLDIERS COME FROM ALL AROUND THE GLOBE, DONT CARE WE THEY ARE FROM AS LONG AS THEY CAN FIGHT (PROTIP: GREEKS SUCK).

This game, boys.

You play as a braindead individual with poor judgement.
So basically a rich as fuck stepfather of yours invites you over to party and promises you mad fun, he even hugs you to show you concern and appreciation.
What do you do?
You get the fuck out of there. Some people start shooting and you run along with them, they give you guns and you start shooting the employees of your stepfather. The more you know about the lunatics you joined, the more you know they're fucked in the head, but you keep going with them till the end.

I can still appreciate how this game allows me to go hunting with a bro. Nice scenery for it, too.

But yeah, it's fucked up.

Squad, and while I tend to stay away from early access games, I enjoyed Project Reality enough and have watched a couple of streams to say I liked what I saw, and have thoroughly enjoyed myself so far. Obviously, it needs a few things fixed, the server list is a pain in the ass sometimes, especially not being able to sort by ping, but once you get into a match I tend to find the majority of the players actually have their heads screwed on right. And one hacker so far out of some 30 or so full matches, I'll take it.
