Love the damage control of people saying "it's only 2 billion", that's not even the budget of a PS3 game. Net Income of SQEX last year (which was an exceptionally good year) was 6.5 billion.
So a 2 billion exceptional loss is huge. Would be like throwing away 4 months of net income when the company has been unable to stay in the green for 5 consecutive years since forever. Every time SE end up with a positive year they fuck it up somehow couple years after.
