Yu Suzuki is a genius and visionary.

He made Space Harrier which automatically makes him elder god tier. OutRun, Virtua Fighter, Afterburner, Power Drift, Virtua Cop, Shenmue.

Everything he made was ambitious, he pretty much created the Sega brand. Before Suzuki, Sega were nonentities, after Suzuki, they are nonentities.
Sega were only great during the Suzuki era.
