This is probably not gonna ring any bells since OP is probably underage, but DJ Clue who is arguably the greatest and most influential rap producer of all time had a well documented video game addiction (this was during the PS2 heyday).

Elon Musk, arguably the most successful entrepreneur of our time, has been recorded to binge on video games for days at a time. (Source: I just read his biography book, it said he was never big into alcohol or drugs or stuff like that, but his friends would have to stop him from playing video games at times)
