I've never played trails in the sky but I think I'm about halfway through Cold Steel now. I've never been drawn in this much by a game's story before. Every little thing has me fucking salivating WHO IS THAT WHAT IS THAT WHAT DOES IT MEAN WOOOOOAAAAH. Easily my favorite game of 2015.
I finished it yesterday and fuck that last chapter. Mechs were cool but the fight was a joke. So much unanswered stuff still too like about Emma. Cold Steel II can't come soon enough.

not really, it's more of a cause and effect thing. one team does this, this is what happens.
Like Estelle and Joshua's story eventually makes the military create a team of bracers so they can be more involved in civilian life, which is Cold Steel. And the two unreleased games between TiTs and CS, just tells CS's story from a different point of view

I like it. It's nothing special if you aren't following the trophy guide, but once you do, it's really fun (mainly because you are no longer lost).
