Someone is dead set on trying to sue my Father's business for over a million dollars for an esoteric financial error which was made gradually over the course of the past 15 years, despite the person suing us having their own auditor check the account annually for the past 15 years and finding nothing.
At which point when they succeed (not if) based on some esoteric laws and codes governing ERISA, I will lose any and all inheritance I have worked for by working at my father's business (at a wage much lower than normal to pay my dues) will be gone. Never mind what has already been spent on attorneys trying to defend ourselves.
I will have nothing and at 32 (likely age by the time the suit goes through) I will have to start from zero.
Sorry, but you can't inflict that kind of damage on someone's life and not expect them to be upset.
I'd rather just become Not Important than have my future stolen.
Only question left is what to do between now and the day I pull the trigger on myself.

Get rid of everything not essential and go completely minimalist is the only goal besides get myself back in good enough shape tofinish the mission.
Selling the house. Keeping the truck. Selling most of the the guns. Giving a lot of clothes to Goodwill. Burning a lot of the nick-knacks, so useless.
