Map design is poor. A lot of open fields.
Only one type of objective and its clear all the enemies, compared to the older games.
Status effects from previous games aren't in. While it sounds like a good thing, it really isn't.
Pair up is broken as fuck and makes the game way easier than it already is.
Infinite reclassing make it even more easier. Robin has access to almost every class.
Just a lot of poor design choices or good idea that were poorly executed.
I know they wanted it to be their swan song, but they kinda ended up leaving out a lot of things that were liked from the older games.
To be completely honest though, it still is a solid game in itself, but compared to the rest of the series, not so much. If you're gonna get it for free in some way it's still worth a play. I still had a lot of fun with it.
Regarding fates though, it's way way better than Awakening. Take that as you will.
