I put 20 hrs in FTL and enjoyed it. RNG doesnt really bother me. Just start over. I beat it a bunch on Normal but never Hard.

They are cute and fun little games of varying substance. Not worth a huge invesment but worth trying out for the experience.

There is no "git gud" in ftl, there is only RNGesus.
Isaac is fun but the developers have been trying their hardest to fix that since Rebirth came out.

to be fair, Edmund did make some good changes.

>Curse rooms are actually good
>No more guaranteed damage rooms when using certain stuff like Ipecac
On the other hand, pills and angel rooms only get worse and worse each patch.
