rare achievements thread
post em
No achievement is rare because SAM exists
>>322404871
Steam achievements just aren't as good as console achievements. And besides 0.05% actually bought the game to play while it sits in the backlog of the other 99.95%
OP..what game is that Technical Sergeant rank from?
>>322405317
tropico 4
wow thats a rare cheevo cuz many buy Age of Empires 2 HD just because its a memegame of nostalgia.
>>322405820
how rare is it?
>Halo 2 Gravemind LASO
15 hours of my life I'll never, ever get back.
>>322406010
The rarest is champion of the Magyars which is 0.25%
One of my rarest achievements is fromTeam Fortress 2 Beta (the old test client)
>>322406105
what did you have to do to get it, i have never played halo games.
>>322406203
Complete every level of Halos 1-4 on the highest difficulty (Legendary), with every single difficulty modifier (skull) on. There are 1-2 dozen skulls, varying between the games, which turn off the HUD, have enemies know your exact position at all times, cut the ammo in your weapons in half, remove the ability to regenerate your shields with anything but melees, turn enemies invisible, give them multiple times more health, remove your ability to enter vehicles, cause enemies to throw grenades / have perfect accuracy, and force you to restart any level you play should you die a single time.
Took me approximately 300 hours to get.
>have locked multiplayer achievements for a game with shit/dead multiplayer
>they are the only achievements left to 100% that game
>>322404871
>it's a grinding achievement rather than being awarded for one single impressive action
>>322406551
Halo: Reach LASO with my buddies during that one weekly goal a couple years back was the most god damn fun I had in Halo, hands down.
>>322406551
Fuck LASOs are bullshit, I had problems with fucking NASO.
>>322405820
>19%
This nigga's backlog is serious.
>>322407069
No such thing as a perfect game anon
>>322407023
Thankfully most of Halo 2 could be skipped with OOB glitches, Halo 4 was cancerous, Halo 3 was pretty easy, and CE was alright. Most time was spent on Great Journey, Gravemind, and The Maw, with honorable mentions to like half of H4.
>>322407181
It means all achievements were unlocked, friend.
Brutal Legend: Metal God. Get 100% on stats screen. Went and tore that shit up since it was on sale, in honour of Muh Lemmy
>>322406776
>game got achievements added literally days ago
Well no surprise there.
>>322406989
Reach and ODST LASO are so easy it becomes enjoyable rather than the fucking cancer that is H2 LASO. I actually had to do ODST twice because of the way they set it up. It was a "playlist" set up, in which you played through the levels set up LASO in sequential order, however mine glitched on the last level after an update and forced me to restart from the first level.
>>322404871
just got super meat boy's golden god cheevo today, even though I only have 96/100 bandages. Maybe it's because i beat the 6 glitch worlds?
Pretty good I guess.
SHIT
>>322407273
I know, I was just being facetious to try and create humor.
Check out my rare
I have the 1001% achievement in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
>>322407590
Nice shoop.
meme achievements
Eh
>>322407409
I have nearly 40 hours in the JC2 multiplayer thing, but zero achievements. Is there a certain server you have to play on to get them or something?
>>322405075
Thanks asshole I just got VAC banned
>>322408113
Your fault, cheating scum. Now kill yourself.
I spent far too long playing Cave story.
>>322408263
Learn to google, nerd.
>>322408113
kek
Just recently platinumed Dragon Quest Heroes, unfortunately the game was very easy throughout, only one bossfight posed any challenge at all.
>>322408429
Que?
I uploaded direct from puush, what's your point?
>>322408558ssaas = sauce
>>322408735
I'm surprised so few people have "beaten" M&B
>>322404871
>steam achievements
>rare
since sam exists I don't even bother with achievements on pc, at least on consoles you actually have to go through some effort to hack achievements instead of just downloading a single program and ticking a few boxes.
>>322408263
best i could do was a rank in wind fortress and boss rush, got up to monster x on hard mode. maybe i'll go back eventually. did you play kero blaster? it was pretty fun trying to get 100% on it.
>>322409210
Don't forget bundles, russian key sellers and steam sale - that means most of the achievement stats are low because people have bigger backlogs and they automatically count towards the total %, no matter if you ever launched or even installed the game, much less played, the game at all.
>>322409210
>Using SAM for anything other than unlocks
Do people honestly do that?
I've only ever used SAM for A.V.A to get the Black Rose.
>>322409382
I never want to look at another Mimiga again, although I haven't played Kero Blaster yet, it does look pretty good.
>>322409509
>Do people honestly do that?
That's like asking if people really wallhack or aimbot in casual mode in CSGO
>>322408263
I thought the achievement with Quote and Curly sitting on Balrog was broken?
>>322409093
I think alot of the people who are dedicated enough to conquer everything in M&B normally play on a highish difficulty for a challenge, as beating it on the default difficulty is pretty easy and just takes an long time and isn't very fun
>>322409704
Yes but there's at least some fun to be derived from that. I don't get the point of hacking achievements unless they're broken or tied to unlocks that you can't be arsed to do. (Installing the game)
>>322409790
It was broken in the Halloween patch or something I believe. It was initially available though.
>legitimately caring about cheevos
just let fucking /v/ die already
this underage neo /v/ cancer is becoming too much
>>322410005
no fun allowed
>>322410046
kill yourself you fucking little faggot
>>322410005
They're a slightly interesting way to provide goals for when you're losing some interest in a game. People like challenges.
Do /v/, your parents, and the rest of the fucking planet a favor and fucking kill yourself.
>>322409210
>>322409502
I agree and I wish steam had a system like xbox does (at least I know the 360 did) where you would get some gamerscore for achievements, more gamerscore for harder achievements. I'd prefer this because then it doesn't matter how many people have the game and you get a nice big number on your profile
guess i was one of ten people who got good with the explodet
