So, is it possible to use a generic wireless dongle for connecting the controller into pc? I already have one so I dont see any reason to buy the microsoft one

Yes it is necesserily, they use their own protocol. It's not wi-fi, it's not bluetooth, you can't connect to it wirelessly without the dongle.

got it, so far DS4 works well wireless using bluetooth via unoficial drivers. Well, fuck you microsoft
