Hi /v/, It's a new year. What're you playing today?Any video games?
Been playing Killer Instinct and Xenoblade

sleep tite pupper
>>322335515
Lot of people playing Xenoblade, it seems. How're you liking it thus far?
Yakuza 5
>>322335607
Only just started. Ended up with a backlog after getting a few things for x-mas and the steam sale so I'm running through it now
Just got back from a week long holiday, and I've got post-holiday blues. Feeling a bit down so I'm gonna play some Yakuza 5.
>>322335621
Is it still Holiday themed?
>>322335719
Fair enough. What'd you get for christmas?
>>322335720
Sorry you've got the blues, anon. Hope Yakuza helps.
>>322335723
Yes.
>>322335723
yep it's xmas themed
>>322335409
I started a new playthrough of Dark Souls on boxing day and played up until New Years eve, got really far but I'm not motivated to pick it up now.
Not sure what to play. I recently bought Splatoon, played it for a few hours and it's pretty fun but I can never be bothered turning my Wii U on.
Any comfy PC game recommendations? I think I feel like playing something with exploration, an RPG or something like that.
Mount & Blade and Total War mostly
>>322335825
>>322335902
Would you recommend the game? I might have to see what all the fuss is about sometimes.
>>322335949
Recettear is pretty comfy if you don't mind the management of running the store on the side.
Give Mount & Blade a spin too, the pace can slow down to really comfy once you get set up with a fief and keep improving it.
>>322335995
Which Total War?
>>322336115
Medieval 2 Kingdoms (TATW) and Rome mostly
Finished KotoR yesterday, today I'll try to get deeper into Grim Dawn but I just don't know what build to go with
>>322336115
What game?
5?
I'd suggest reading this.
http://pastebin.com/xMUt9y26
Yakuza 2, maybe.
>>322336173Nice mod. You should give some of the rebalancing/overhaul mods for the core game a try too, if you get the chance.
>>322336295
Sounds like a case of experimentation. See what works best.
>>322336357
Any of them, really. Only seen the games mentioned, never played.
>>322336115
I've had Mount & Blade on steam for around 2 years and never actually got around to playing it. Installing now.
>>322335409
I got War of The Monsters for PS4, one of my favorite games from PS2
Some Bloodborne level 4 NG+5 as well
>>322336535
Currently playing DaC. Just finished Erebor Campaign. Don't know which one to play next
>>322336535
Cool, read that link then.
I'd emulate the first 2, find 3, then get 4 and 5 on PSN.
>>322336593
I urge you to get Viking Conquest DLC. It is very good. It adds lots of new features and a storyline.
Fire Emblem: Awakening. Grinding to getsupport conversations because I love my soldiers' interactions
>>322335409
FFXIII
never finished it
goof battle system and music ruined by a bad story and restrictive movement. Still not as bad as people say, the battle system is really good.
>>322336686
How long do you plan on NG+ing Bloodborne?
>>322336713
I have memories of Mordor being pretty fun once you get the ball rolling. Or Isengard if you like a challenge.
>>322336768
Alright, I've an emulator ready on my desktop - I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
>>322336593
If you end up liking it, the anon saying "get viking conquest" is right. The reviews are based on the release, which was clunky and unfinished, but they've patched it to pretty solid now.

>>322337021
Will do, cheers lads
>>322335409
Finally crossed a game off my backlog today.
Feels good man.
>>322337021
to NG+6, which is max difficulty
It was thought that NG+7 was the max but its actually your 7th playtrough, not the 7th NG+
It was the same in DeS, DaS, and DaS2
>>322336961
I CANT clear the last three song on extreme it drives me nuts
>>322335409
I wanna play a Yakuza game but I have nothing to play, going to play PSO2 on my shitty laptop instead.
>>322337021
Thanks for the suggestion. Might try Isengard then.
cute dog :3
>>322335409
Hey Anon happy new year!
Ive been playing Medieval total war, pretty sweet.
>pic related
>>322337091
Congratulations, anon.How many are left?
>>322337121
Ah, fair enough - you're almost there, then?
>>322337190
Good luck!
>>322337231It's not mine, but Shiba Inus are wonderful dogs.
I wish I had a shiba dog.
Not even memeing I just think they are very cute.
been playing (reading?) Steins;Gate on PC and sort of playing a bit of STALKER CoP (heavily modded). finished the DLC for TLoU yesterday in one sitting (its pretty short, but fun). looking for something to play really, might just replay one of my favorites like SH2 or something.
>>322337347
Yeah, its getting close
Last NG+ was scary because I fucked up some really easy strats
Nevertheless, NG+6 DLC is going to fuck my ass raw
>>322337326
Woah, how's the original Medieval? Never managed to get it to work on a newer system.
>>322337408
They are pretty great. What're you playing?
>>322337427
Well, what kind of genres do you enjoy? Maybe some anons can introduce you to new stuff.
>>322337347
>How many are left?
Like five hundred.
>>322337535
I'll probably play some more Darkest Dungeon or Ironcast. On a bit of a rogue-lite trip right now.
Working on getting my weeb ship, and removing ayys in XCOM, a good day all in all
>>322337535
Its a nostalgia overload and is as awesome as i remembered it from years back.
Yeah me either, i tried to find a torrent hundreds of times and when i did it wouldnt work.
Found it on steam on the off chance and it plays perfect,
>>322337535
>>322337683
Running it on windows 8.1 with absolutely no issues
>>322337526Don't forget the lube.
>>322337574
Well... hope you get a chance to bite into it all eventually.
>>322337630
How's Darkest Dungeon? I hear people complaining about the difficulty and the RNG a lot.
>>322337637
That's a prettyneat___weebship.
>>322337742
Using the Steam version? I might have to get it, if so.
>>322337838
Yup straight off steam.
The only thing youre gonna have to do is set the resolution in game to your screens res and itll be sweet
>>322337991
Well hot damn, I know what to play now.
>>322338102
Well enjoy and if you do
>protip
Crusades, i couldnt for the life of me remember how to do them on the original. Turns out you have to build your way up through the church line until you can build a Chapel House. Which then gives you the crusade unit option.
Google couldnt help me with that one either but after ploughing about 10 hours into it today i figured it out.
>>322338604
Guess it beats the random "The pope wants Alexandria NOW!" in the second one.
>>322338787
No comment anon i dont wanna get excommunicated
>>322338787WHAT DID YOU SAY? excommunication war, pls prove your worth
Legend of Grimrock 2
Finished the first one yesterday and just started the second.
Dungeon crawling is comfy as shit
>>322338102
Team fortress 2 is also free on steam rn if thats your thing
>>322339551
Dungeon crawling is pretty great - unless the RNG gets pissy.
>>322339573
I'm good. Played TF2 for a while too, not really into arena shooters.
>>322335409
Well, I was doing the Raid and Iron Banner with some friends earlier on Destiny, then I switched over to Ark Survival Evolved (where I got killed by a fucking bug). I might jump into Mad Max for a little bit, take a nap, and then do some more raiding with my buddies later.
>>322335409
today?
GTA IV: TBoGT, Cuban Missile Crisis and Doom 2
>>322340527
>>322340597
Those sound like some cozy times, anons. Anything you plan on finishing this year?
>>322340642
probably Aliens games, hard to believe I never played any before considering how much I love movies.
And I'm really in mood, since my M41A replica didn't arrive yet

>no regrets
