Yep. This awesome game called Frizzy came out last week and I think it's gonna be the breakout hit of 2016. Has the charm of old n64 platformers with a cool little floaty gimmick.

Honestly I've never cared for 2D platformers. I just get sick of them too quickly. The only one I've finished is Super Mario Bros and it took me years of on and off playing.
I've enjoyed some 3D platformers, though. Indie scene needs to get up on that. I know there's a handful coming out, I'm just waiting for it to become the new trend.

You've got Tiny & Big, Poi, Tinker, Ben & Ed already out.
The one I'm most hyped for is actually a low budget piece of shit with terrible character design, but it seems to capture the feel of Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie better than anything else I've seen.

Any chance there's a demo available? Definitely getting that retro n64 feel but I've been maxed out on 2D platformers, man. Though this one does look unique and we've finally moved on from that 8-bit trend which is good.
