Playing Lisa and holy shit this fucking game.
This game gives me the most confusing emotions.Choose between cutting off my arm of having one of my own guys killed.
>Russion roulette where you can kill 3 characters if you're unlucky right after that
This game is emotionally exhausting.
>>322299348
>Russion
I wonder if there's someone who didn't save scum the russian roulette
>>322299637
For the forced one? I got lucky and didn't need to. For Buckets? Yeah, I savescummed the shit out of that.
>>322299637
I didn't
R.I.P. percy
>>322299637
savescumming a game like this ruins the fun
>>322299637
I actually died later on so I went back and got lucky the second time.
>>322300012
this. what's the point of playing a game like this when you just end up loading the game to get a "better" outcome
>played Undertale before this so now I hesitate before attacking some enemies
>>322299736
Yeah I don't think I'd go for him in subsequent runs
>>322299637
I killed Terry man. Fucking Terry.
i remember someone was saying something about the "correct" order of playing these games. something about the order of LISA then LISA the joyfull or some shit.
say i wanna start playing this, where do i start?
>>322303819
This is the first game. LISA also known as LISA The Painful. Then you play LISA The Joyful.
>>322303923
thank you for the reply, i remember playing the first bit of it when it came out, lost interest after a while but gonna get back into it soon.
>>322303923
Lisa the first came before Lisa the painful. Its not really necessary to play, but its there.
>>322304670
Oh right.
>tfw no lisa torrent
>>322305294
$10
UH HUH
>>322305415
Not even. It's less than 5 bucks for complete version.
>>322299348
so how fucked is brad without limbs? Is cutting an arm off really worth it to save squirrel man?
wasnt there a mega link for it once upon a time?
>>322305517
What happens if you don't have Beastborn before this?
also
>Ran out of my last Joy
>>322305517
He can't use that arm in combat anymore and I think it lowers stats a tad.
>>322305517
you lose atk and def and some attack moves like Machine gun fist
Having no arms means no wasd attacks and attacking with only skills.
>People actually using joy on their first playthrough
>>322305951
does that completely gimp brad though or is it only a minor inconvenience?
I also heard that if you sacrifice characters the surviving characters are more likely to ditch your party at campfires
>>322305702
the game takes the first party member on your team
also what >>322305712 said
>>322306129
he's still pretty strong even with no arms. also you climb rope much slower for obvious reasons.
party members are more likely to ditch you on painful mode i think
>>322303808
You're a monster.
>>322306007
Is it possible to beat The Joyful without joy?
I don't know how you can beat big Lincoln without it
>>322299348
This game fucking triggered me because of tile-by-tile movement in a sidescrolling perspective.
I suppose I should give it another shot, though...
>>322306541
It is possible and very fucking boring.
>mfw no achievement
Is lisa buddy?
>>322306853
every fucking time.
>>322306853
No, though Brad and Buzzo think the inverse is true
>>322306541
same, i didn't use any joy until Big Lincoln battle, still, that battle was top notch.
>>322299348
It's a shame this game didn't get the kind of attention Undertale is getting, since it's by far better than Undertale in every way except less tumblr pandering.
>>322307045
>it's a shame
I'm pretty sure that's a blessing, please don't push that meme further.
>>322307045
It's great it didn't get as much attention.
>>322306007
He gets hurt if you don't use it right? RIGHT?
>>322306129
>campfires
I've learned by mistake. Never again.
Too bad Joyful is complete trash.
>>322306129
Nope, you can beat the game no matter your decisions and it's not THAT much harder.
>>322306541
>the joyful
>not using joy
its in the name, chump.
It is possible to beat without joy but you can probably tell it takes tons of rng
Lisa terrifies me. I don't know how. I guess it reminds me of space funeral, there's nothing overtly "scary" about it, but there's this overbearing feeling of dread and everything is literally out to get you
>>322307389
this
the game being as popular at it is is fine. it's known in the right places without calling in the retarded people
what matters its how much it sold, and as far I know, it did pretty well
>>322307045
it really isn't
>>322308229
hotels should've been limited use or have had some sort of drawback
>>322308775
>it really isn't
meant to quote the first half of your post
>>322308746
Lisa is good because it has breakneck transitions between sad, creepy, horrible, and funny.
One screen you're losing something special and the next you're having slapstick.
>>322308746
>yfw every Lisa and Marty hallucinations on The Painful
Rando lived a hard life
>>322309204
Rando was better than the world before and after.
>>322308746
I'm still in what I think are the beginning stages and one thing I'm interested in seeing is what's up with the mutant thing. I saw a guy just chilling one minute and when I came back he was a bloated, super strong blob. I'm very interested to see what the back story and the deal is.
It's also really funny that a snake is one of the strongest beginning enemies.
>>322308976
>wally
>>322309667
hes just having ajoyfultime.
>>322308746
it has a similar tone to mother 3 whereyou're constantly winning battles but losing the war
>>322306541
Big Lincoln is pretty easy if you leveled up high enough to get mend and took off Rando's belt and gave it to Buddy.
>>322311171
>mend
the joyful was literal easymode after that addition
