RP in wow has always been retarded, RP in eve is actually pretty good, because if you don't get in your character you don't go anywhere.
My only experience roleplaying making a Tauren named Bloodhoof and arguing with everyone in Mulgore that the Earth Mother demands blood sacrifice.

My sub ran out because I've been busy and the current expac is shit. Most my friends also stopped played.
I had many characters in WoW that I RP'd.
Then as I got older and more bored of the game itself, I started adventuring with my sexuality.

I've not found an MMO that had roleplay as engaging as I had on Argent Dawn. Had being the keyword here. I came back recently wanting to RP and it's nothing like how it used to be. There's no knightly orders or adventuring bands that actually play the part out in the world on quests and doing events, instead you find them in stormwind doing fucking relationship RP or ERPing constantly.
I want it to be good again, though. I'd re-sub in a flash.

Then when he ML's the spell dagger off Prince to her, half the fucking raid gquit on the spot. I left the next morning.
I always kept my gear up to par and never had trouble finding a guild.

I've never been able to get into roleplaying in MMOs because I'm a slow typist.
WoW is particularly difficult because there's no internal logic to the world. Things just are the way they are for no reason. And it's hard to get immersed in the setting when its history inexplicably stopped a decade ago and I can't affect its current state in even the smallest way.
