Depends on the genre tbqh.
Action-heavy game: 720p60
Slower, better-looking game: 1080p30
Non-action (i.e. turn based tactics/strategy): 2160p20

240p @260fps
1440p ultrawide/60fps
I prefer playing on PC tbqh

720p/60fps
Ie, Wii U mode.
720 @ 60 fps for most games
if it's like, a genre that dosn't rely on reflexes then 1080 @ 30 fps
I'm honestly indifferent toward screen resolution (unless it's something egregious like the 3DS XL and its fuckhuge pixels). Framerate on the other hand is important for every genre except perhaps turn-based gameplay.

I have a PC so I don't have to choose.
>>322233173
The jump from 720p to 1080p isn't as dramatic as the jump from 30fps to 60fps.
Resolution doesn't matter if the game still has aliasing up the ass.

1440p 165fps

In 2020, maybe.
