They arent even comparable really. Very different pacing and shit. RE is about ammo management and carefully placed shots, while Uncharted is about yolo'ing over a wall, unloading every bullet in the direction of some guy and then taking him out with a swift dickpunch takedown. I play Uncharted more aggressively than I play fucking Vanquish.

I never said RE is better or worse. Just that they play differently and are fun for different reasons. I would say the guns in RE feel better, cause those games focus on aiming and enemy weakness. Uncharted has pretty big spread on all guns and focuses on movement, which I'll give the game some shit, cause Uncharted does a poor job teaching players that running around and doing mixed shooting/melee moves is more effective than trying to go for accuracy.
I like both because I have good taste and enjoy things.

dude, I run up to 3 enemies clustered together, pop the middle one's head with a shot and proceed to do a QTE roundhouse, knocking all 3 of them over
and that's just with the Red9, don't get me started with the shotguns

The thing I hate about uncharted and games like it is that the game doesn't give the opportunity to avoid damage - you are forced to soak it up and then hide once your screen turns red enough. There isn't any depth to the combat because you just hide behind cover and pop out to shoot the men. RE4 gives you the opportunity to avoid all damage in the game

We're definitely getting Pokemon Z this year, or X/Y 2 or whatever. It's their 20th anniversary and they've said they'll have stuff to show for it (not confirmation of a mainline game, but pretty much).
Personally I'm pretty excited. Platinum was a billion trillion times better than D/P, and the sequels to Black and White are my personal favorites of the entire series. So I think we'll get something good this time around as well, especially considering they had an extra year to work on it.
They could also bust out Gen 7, but I think it's too early for that. Then again, I said the same thing about Gen 6.
