If you've already got a 3DS, there's a decent demo for EOIV you can download. I put over 44hours into the demo itself. There's also more to Moe Chronicles than just rubbing half naked monster girls, so far nothing challenging other than my first encounter with Kobold (she has a nasty multi-target hit) and trying to decide which girls to have in my party, while keeping at least 1 of each type of element.

Cost Steel is great, I was expecting Trails of Persona but the school stuff is minimal, the focus is on character interaction/ development and the worldbuilding and politics.
Legend of Legacy is so so, it's probably better if you are a really big SaGa fan, it's basically a combat-focused SaGa game with minimal plot and dialogue. (Even less so than most SaGa games)

Terry is pretty OP. I used him, Alena, and Yangus. Terry is great for tension building and spamming his coup de grace, Alena can be built to get lots of crits for low damage, making her essential for metal slime farming.

It's the first Erebonia Trails game. There are three Liberl games and two Crossbell games, they all happen around the same time on different countries of the same continent. The games are famous for character development and world-building.
They are loosely connected so you can go into Sky or Cold Steel easily. We have Cold Steel 1 (Sen 1), Japan has Sen 1 and 2 right now and 3 is being made.

That's fine. The game is just so weird about some of its decisions, like Serina being the only one to get a multi-target attack and having to take the girls with you to get experience instead of having shared experience. I might have messed up by grinding the bonus dungeons using different girls instead of just using Serina. She is objectively the best girl in that game.
