Reminder that "studio pixel" is actually one single man that done EVERYTHING alone, over 5 fucking years.
It is also a metroidvania plataformer easily on par with big names like castlevania Itself.
The artstyle is awesome pixel art, one of the Best in the world, behind only big AAA titles (from old skn).
The last dungeon is literally GIT FUCKING GUT, YOU CASUAL SCUM.

It's not even close to the same quality as Cave Story anyway. I enjoyed it while playing but felt pretty empty when it was finished. It was like finishing an episode of a sitcom instead of a drama. Lots of fun, but didn't really leave me with much other than temporary entertainment.

Be patient. I took fucking forever to beat him, and I was cheesing both bosses.
Some tips: get good at the first part and dont take dmg. Pretty easy
In the falling boulders, people say to Rush It, I say to not. The angels spam at specific places and they are not respawning. Get rid of them all, and learn to dodge.
The third, also be as slow as possible. With practice, you can reach the press with full hp. Then follow YouTube to kill the bosses

That's not really what it's about.The Doctor came to The Island for the Demon Crown and found the Mimiga there then discovered the effects of the red flowers. He was going to descend upon the surface with his army and his ultimate power and crush everyone. The robots aren't really a part of it and just happen to be there.
