Your art doesn't look very good (samey environment tiles, rudimentary UI, muddy character sprites), and IMO it seems like the lighting effects are supposed to disguise that, but they just highlight that fact even further. If you were to take the amount of defending the graphics you've done in this thread and applied that effort towards paying a better pixelartist, you'd have a much more appealing game on your hands and you wouldn't have to lie through your teeth to the artist and to people who criticise these .webms.
