What's some good operation-core games?
breach & clear for maximum operations
or
Silent Storm if you want to operate like your gramps and withmechs
MGSV
Arma 3 or Squad
>>322140443
Jagged Alliance with 1.13 mod.
>>322140443
I don't get that guy.
He was like a hipster operator.
is rainbow six siege any good?
What does operator mean in this context?
>>322142112
Dude with regular clothes operating a gun.
>>322140443
I love this movie <3
>>322141819
>not clearing site
>not planting in a shitty spot
my autism
>>322141556
It's just how operators roll, they always have.
SWAT 4
>>322140443
WHEN YOU'RE A SPY
>>322141598
Yes
>>322144835
He was clearly meant to be Vining
Splinter cell blacklist. It's what MGS wished it was.
insurgency
Here we go with the fucking Sicario shilling again.
It was a babby wanabe "badass" movie, average at fucking best, with the most unrealistic depiction of a FBI agent i've ever saw.
>Hey, they're basically using us and we're straight fucking useless retards dead meat !
>Let's get the fuck out then.
>N-no !
>>322141598
Mediocre but fun.
>>322144835
>stock buttstock
>fixed A2 front
>fixed back peephole sights
>no foreward grip
>no red dot
>no muzzlebreak
>stock metal mags
>no ranger plate
>no multi point sling
Enjoy killing anything noob.
>>322141598
it will be when its $20
if you catch my drift
>>322141819
While I love webm's, this is one of the reasons why I hate them.
>>322145723
>needing all that shit to kill people
git gud scrub
>>322145420
this is what I immediately thought when I saw him
>>322140443
7.62 hard life
Arma3 (with ACE3)
>>322142112
operator is sometimes applied to special force members irl. It's kind of became a colloquial term for anything with realistic/believable military stuff.
>>322145964
Fuck yeah 7.62! I swear, I though I was the only person who bought that damn game.
>>322145842
Bitch you couldn't kill a comedy club
fully booked by deaf persons
>>322145842
How can one guy looking like an average bloke who does computers for a living be so operator? I mean that guy is the operator of all operators.
>>322146119
https://youtu.be/6mrbmf3IRi4
>>322146143
Terror wears BCGs.
Far Cry 2 and MGS V for operating inna Africa.
>>322141556
Slightly big eyeglasses make you hipster now?
>>322141413
This. JA2 + 1.13 is about as pure operator gear queer as you can get.
>>322145723
I'm amazed Vining even bothered to bring a rifle, he could kill a man in at least 14 other ways at any given time.
>>322146143
I've never met any Delta guys IRL (that I know of) but most of the guys in 1st SFG here look like semi-buff nerds, some even have noticeable beer guts in uniform. Only a few I've come across are the ripped ruggedly handsome 6'+ guys you imagine all special operations dudes to be.
>>322141556
Michael Weston wears many disguises.
>>322146143
Seems like there are two types. You got your bearded, muscle, vest with no shirt, backwards hat operator and then you have your unassuming local guy type.
>>322146292
huge glasses and a mustache is practically a hipster trademark
>>322141556
I think that's the point. He's a spook, but you would never fucking notice
>>322146143
majority of sociopathic serial killers look like computer nerds
coincidence?
Bf2 pr
Wwii is back as well
>>322146493
Not that kind of mustache though, dude has straight dadstache. Hipsters always have curly mustaches, guy in the movie has a mustache that meets military regulation.
I just realized it's Dodd from Fargo
who is mike vining
>>322146789
>Hipsters always have curly mustaches
Not always
>>322146487
>>322146457
>tfw will never go skiing with Vining
>Fully retired. Keeping busy by writing, hiking, backpacking, rock and mountain climbing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and alpine and backcountry skiing.
That's what he does now.
>>322147062
That supposed to be a hipster? Doesn't look like one at all
Is Burn Notice any good? I watched the first season years ago but I don't remember much
>>322147236
Should watch their videos, they only employ hipster chefs
>>322147357
They are based in Seattle, everyone looks like a hipster here, even people who aren't.
>>322147074
I wonder what he writes about.
>>322147587
Killing.
>>322147260
No.
Watch cinemax's Strike Back.
>>322141413
Dont know why the thread kept going desu
7.62 isnt bad, both the mods aand the official mod/expansion thing arent bad. Pretty decent running coke and fighting it out with various cunts in the jungle.
>>322147074
>nowadays I'm just writing, hiking, backpacking, rock and mountain climbing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and alpine and backcountry skiing
>what do you do anon?
>playing video games
Silent Storm
7.62 High Caliber
Jagged Alliance 2, preferably with 1.13
>>322147521
Seattlite here, can confirm.
It's like Portland but not quite as bad.
>>322147850
already seen it. one of my favorite shows
>>322148232
top fucking lad, same here.
Watch Banshee if you haven't. It has some operating, well, plenty, but its more style over substance, not realistic as Strike Back.
Alternatively watch The Unit.
>>322148334
Is Strike Back realistic? I saw a commercial for it and it looked kind of silly.
>>322145224
Came here to post this
Also the Stetchkov Syndicate Expansion
>>322141598
not at that price
>>322148404
Well they obviously kill a slightly unrealistic amount of enemies but weapon handling, hand to hand and just general operating is probably the most realistic on film ever made.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0uiLRxKs98
Max Payne 3
>>322141598
It's good but I wouldn't buy it for that price without any type of single player campaign. I got it free with my 980 and like it but glad I didn't pay for it.
Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13
>>322149426
gameplay is horse shit
>>322149497
>horse shit
>still better than new JAs, 7.32, and any other games that tried to copy JA2
gameplay is fine anon, you just need to get used to it
>>322149704
>7.32
7.62 evenI shouldnt post drunk
>>322149497
>the best squad tactics game ever
>gameplay is horse shit
This just confirms that "gameplay" is a memeword used by retards
>>322148571
The techniques they use are nice but the show, judging solely from that clip, looks like standard hollywood action fodder.
>>322149869
There are 5 seasons (4 in the US because the very first one wasn't aired until later). Pirate first episode of season 2, you can completely disregard the initial season. That first episode will all the close-quarters operating inside of a hotel will sell the show to you, trust me.
>>322150129
Alright, I'll check out the episode, I happen to have HBO on demand and all the seasons are on there.
>>322146457
>some even have noticeable beer guts in uniform
Maybe in the late 80s when that pic was taken, not really the case for SF anymore.
